Intervention Services
Chemical Dependency effects one in every two American families.
Joanna and Doug Stellato Kabat were instrumental in the development of the "Invitational Intervention" ARISE Model for addiction intervention and treatment. The ARISE model is based working with the entire family – including the alcohol or drug troubled person- using the strengths of the family to move the recovery process forward.
The ARISE method eliminates the need for secrets, confrontations, or unrealistic demands, and replaces it with dignity, love, caring and respect. ARISE uses the alcohol or drug-troubled person’s family and friendship system to motive the individual into treatment. The model can be applied to families, corporations, agencies, and communities, and applies to all addictive disorders, including compulsive gambling and sex addiction.
ARISE is the only alcohol and other drug-dependence treatment method that has been shown in clinical trials to be effective in assisting troubled people into recovery.
